Über ILLUSION
ILLUSION ist ein Wiener Underground-Künstler, dessen Schaffen tief in der österreichischen Hip-Hop- und Alternative-Szene verwurzelt ist. Sein Weg ist geprägt von schonungsloser Selbstfindung, emotionaler Ehrlichkeit und der Suche nach Freiheit in einer fragmentierten Welt.
Alles begann im Wohnzimmer seiner WG als Drum and Bass DJ und MC unter der Formation Red Eye Double, bis die beiden begannen, selbst zu produzieren. 2001 ging es weiter im Jugendzentrum in Niederösterreich. Im Proberaum gründete er mit Freunden die erste Hip-Hop-Formation 5 Sinne.
Nach einer intensiven Phase der Selbstfindung war ILLUSION Mitbegründer des Projekts KDC. Hier organisierte er Konzerte, stemmte Bookings und stand auf großen Bühnen. Aus dieser Energie formte sich The Mind of Origin – mit Produzent Dantaya.
ILLUSION nennt sich Schattenkünstler. Seine Musik ist selbsttherapeutisch: roh, ungeschminkt, berührend. Er prägte das Genre Poesie des Nebels – zwischen Hip-Hop, Alternative und introspektiver Lyrik.
ILLUSION is a Viennese underground artist deeply rooted in the Austrian hip-hop and alternative scene. His path is shaped by uncompromising self-discovery, emotional honesty, and the search for freedom.
It all began in his shared apartment as a drum and bass DJ and MC under Red Eye Double, until they started producing on their own. In 2001, the journey continued at a youth center in Lower Austria with 5 Sinne.
After self-discovery, ILLUSION co-founded KDC, organizing concerts and performing on major stages. From this emerged The Mind of Origin with producer Dantaya.
ILLUSION calls himself a shadow artist. His music is self-therapeutic: raw, unvarnished, moving. He coined the genre Poetry of the Fog – floating between hip-hop, alternative, and introspective lyricism.
